Introduction to Fundraising Workshop - Cary, NC

This one-day interactive workshop will provide a basic introduction for those new to fund development and seeking to expand their mission impact by learning more about fundraising.
Specifically designed for parish, school and ministry staff or volunteers, participants will gain a basic understanding of the core elements needed to successfully implement a sustainable fund development program. Co-presenters, Peter de Keratry and Mary Macuga, will cover topics such as:

Workshop Presenters
Peter de Keratry, MA, CFRE is CEO and Founder of Petrus Development, LLC. He brings over fifteen years of experience in fund development, having served as Campaign Director for projects with goals up to $100 Million for organizations such as St. Mary’s Catholic Center at Texas A&M University; Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan; the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, DC; Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas; the Vatican Observatory Foundation in Tucson, Arizona and a wide variety of Catholic schools and campus ministry programs.
Mary Macuga, MA, has served as the Director of Development at the All Saints Catholic Newman Center at Arizona State University since 1997. Her development experience includes organizational strategic planning, creating and implementing an annual fund plan and a major gifts program, strengthening relationships with the university, producing professional communication materials, public relations and coordinating special events. Mary serves as a consultant for parishes and schools within the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix and also with a variety of Petrus clients such as the Catholic Community at Stanford and the Newman Center at the University of Nebraska.
