John M. Flynn
Co-Founder
John Flynn is co-founder of Petrus Development, LLC.
He served as Director of Institutional Advancement at the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas for eleven years. During that time, John worked with Monsignor Vince Krische to augment the level of private gift support for St. Lawrence. Under John’s leadership, St. Lawrence expanded its annual budget to $1.5 million with a full-time staff of 22, and completed a capital campaign exceeding the initial goal of $11 million by raising a total of more than $13 million.
John is tenaciously focused on the major gift moves process. He works with clients to focus their energy on face-to-face relationship building, tracking productivity and results. Recent client service includes the Catholic Centers at Duke, Nebraska, and Washington University in St. Louis.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He resides in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife, Lucy, and their four children.
