Kathryn Whitaker

Kathryn Whitaker serves as a contract Communications Consultant for Petrus.
Her experience ranges from collegiate to non-profit to for-profit organizations. She was a graduate teaching assistant at Iowa State University, educating graduating seniors about agricultural communications. Additionally, Kathryn was a Communications Specialist with the National FFA Organization, where she was responsible for media coordination, community outreach, public relations, video/audio/song production and technical writing, as well as vendor relations.
In 2001, she became a freelance graphic designer and writer specializing in streamlining current communications materials, brand identity and marketing and technical writing. Some of her current clients include: the Catholic Community at Stanford University, the Newman Catholic Student Center at Duke University, the St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center at Minnesota State University-Mankato, the Texas Public Policy Foundation, White Construction Company and the Diocese of Austin.
Kathryn received her B.S. degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University and her M.S. degree in Agricultural Education, with an emphasis in communications, from Iowa State University. She and her husband, Scott, reside in Austin, Texas, with their five children.
