Mary Pat Beals, CFRE

Mary Pat has worked in not-for-profit management and fundraising for 26 years. In 1993 she joined Catholic Charities and immediately began to make things happen. She is responsible for growth in the development, marketing, and public relations effort for Catholic Charities from a one-person shop to leading nine staff and hundreds of volunteers responsible for raising more than six million dollars a year.

Mary Pat is an expert in creating an environment and culture that actively engages volunteers and staff in research, strategic planning, and in achieving significant accomplishments. She builds on the strengths of organizations current development efforts to increase returns on investments in all areas of fund development. She says “I love all aspects of fund raising and feel passionate about connecting donors with great missions. Whether increasing responses to direct mail, enhancing grant revenue or identifying qualified prospects for major gifts and planned giving, great fund development evolves from the donors desire to give.”

Certified as a Fund Raising Executive since 1996, Mary Pat has graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in English from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
