Mike Perkins

Michael Perkins is a Senior Consultant with Petrus.

Prior to Petrus, he served as the National Director of Advancement for the Catholic Campus Ministry Association and was responsible for all aspects of their nationwide development program, creating new initiatives to fund CCMA’s annual operations and expand programs.

Mike brings 26 years of experience in fund development, having served as Executive Director of a $104 million dollar multi-phase capital campaign at the University of Dallas; as State Director of Development for Audubon Texas; and as Director of Corporate Giving for a $33.5 million dollar campaign at Texas Wesleyan University.

Before entering development, Mike served as a director of youth and campus ministries in the Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from the University of Dallas. He is a member of the Austin, Texas, chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. As a volunteer, he has chaired multiple school boards and development committees and served on state and national level boards of directors. Mike has recently worked with Petrus clients including the St. Thomas More Newman Center at The Ohio State University, The Newman Catholic Student Center at the University of Iowa, St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center at Minnesota State University - Mankato, and Busted Halo Young Adult Ministries in New York. Mike and his wife, Sharon, live in Austin, Texas with their two high school and college-aged children. Their oldest daughter is a CPA in Dallas.
