Msgr. Vince Krische

Rev. Msgr. Vincent Krische is one of the most enthusiastic and inspiring speakers in Catholic campus ministry.
Msgr. Krische spent 38 years building successful ministries, first at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and then 28 years at St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas.
Msgr. Krische served as a member of the Editorial Committee for the Bishops’ Pastoral Letter on Campus Ministry “Empowered by the Spirit: Campus Ministry Faces the Future” and as the Chair of the Development Committee of CCMA. He also established the Annual Development Conference for CCMA and served as a Board member of the Executive Committee of CCMA.
Msgr. Krische directed the Frank J. Lewis Institute for Campus Ministry Orientation, was elected Founding President of the National Association of Diocesan Directors of Campus Ministry (NADDCM) and served as Commissioner for the State of Kansas Commission on Governmental Ethics for eight years. In addition, he served as a member of the United Way Board of Douglas County and was awarded with the Distinguished Service Citation by the University of Kansas, an Honorary Doctorate for service to the University and the highest honor the University bestows.
Msgr. Krische recently retired as Pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church in Prairie Village, Kansas, but remains committed to campus ministry in recognizing its importance for the Church.
In addition to his work with Petrus, Msgr. Vince has “retired” to the St. Lawrence Catholic Center at the University of Kansas, where he will support the ongoing ministry to the community.
